Warwick
Castle
A time travelling experience
through medieval England
Warwick Castle was originally built in
1068 by William the Conqueror. The
site itself holds over 1,000 years of
history however, for in the year of 914,
Ethelfleda, the daughter of Alfred the
Great , established an Anglo -Saxon
'Burh' on the site, to aid in the defence
against the invading Danes.
The Castle is an enchanting place, full
of glittering swords and suits of
armour, shiny marble floors and
towering archways, and lush green
fields and forests! There is something
to admire around every corner, but
just be careful not to find yourself
wandering into the castle dungeons...
“I liked the
architechure
of Warwick
Castle, and
the whole
place was
amazing! “
